The future of Xavi Simons at Paris Saint-Germain is at the forefront with the summer transfer window nearing. If the 21-year-old decides not to return to the French capital, there will be several suitors for the player.

In recent weeks, FC Barcelona have been a prominent club looking to lure Simons back to the Catalan side as he came up through their youth system before leaving for PSG.

Simons has really stood out at RB Leipzig, leaving a strong impression with 43 appearances across all competitions. His remarkable tally of 10 goals and 15 assists has definitely caught the attention of one Bundesliga team.

According to Sky Germany (h/t Diario AS), Bayern Munich is interested in signing Xavi Simons for next season. However, the transfer might be tricky as PSG is asking for between €60 million and €70 million. Because of this high price, Bayern is considering a loan deal instead.

Recently, journalist Abdellah Boulma noted that everyone within PSG appreciate the player. It will be interesting to see if that’s enough to convince him to return; if not, then it opens for clubs like Barcelona and Bayern Munich to swoop in.
