Still, failure to do anything in the postseason once again has had many Cowboy fans wanting to move on from their star quarterback, and that could be coming next season.

Prescott Is Heading Into The Last Year Of His Deal

The 30-year-old quarterback is heading into the last year of his four-year deal, which he signed in March 2021. There have been no signs of progress on a new deal.

If Prescott does not sign a deal by next season, he will likely not be on the roster for 2025, and one NFL analyst already has a replacement lined up for the star quarterback.
