Analyst Shares Bold Green Bay Packers 2024 Prediction
Dan Powers/USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Green Bay Packers shocked a lot of people with their performance during the 2023 season. Not much was expected from them after trading Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets, declaring the start of the Jordan Love era.

Things were bumpy at the start as the Packers started the season 3-6. But, once their young team started getting their bearings and gaining experience, they turned things around. Green Bay would finish the season winning six out of their last eight games, earning a Wild Card spot.

As the No. 7 seed in the NFC, the Green Bay Packers had to go on the road and face the No. 2 seed Dallas Cowboys. They made NFL history, becoming the first No. 7 seed to win during Super Wild Card Weekend.

That led to a matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round. While they were defeated, the Packers gave the 49ers everything they could handle. It was an invaluable experience gained for the youngest team in the NFL.

What can we expect to see from the green and gold in 2024? In the opinion of Maurice Moton of Bleacher Report, some more success should be on the horizon. Moton has predicted that the Green Bay Packers will earn the top Wild Card spot in the NFC, setting them up for a playoff matchup against the No. 4 seed Atlanta Falcons.

A Super Wild Card Weekend matchup between those two teams would be a lot of fun for football fans. Both teams possess what could be two of the most prolific offenses not only in the NFC, but the entire NFL.

Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins is someone the Green Bay Packers know well from his time with their NFC North rivals, the Minnesota Vikings. That could give them an edge in this predicted playoff matchup that is loaded with young talent on each respective offense.

In Moton’s predictions, the NFC North dominates the playoff picture. The Detroit Lions earn the No. 1 seed, while the Chicago Bears end their playoff drought and land the No. 6 seed.
